File Specifications

For the best print quality, it's important to set up your files correctly.

Below, you'll find our file specifications, including accepted formats, resolution, color modes, and bleed requirements.

Following these guidelines ensures your custom coasters print exactly as expected.

Artwork Submission Guidelines

For Value Pack and High Volume Orders

Technical Requirements (applies to all formats):
  • Image resolution should be 300 dpi or higher at actual size.
  • Images should be provided CMYK color, NOT RGB.
  • For color matching, please provide/reference target PMS color(s) in artwork.
  • All type/text should be converted to outlines (or provide fonts with your artwork).
  • Please include at least a ¼" bleed past the outside edge of the artwork.
(any backgrounds or images that extend outside the coaster should extend by ¼")
  • Include a 3/16" safe area inside the edge of the art.
(no important images or text should come closer than 3/16" to the cut edge of the coaster)
  • Make sure files are named descriptively - i.e. "My Company Coaster 1 FRONT.eps"
(Try to avoid generic names like "coaster" or "final art."
Clearly identifying your filenames helps us tell your files from someone else's!)
  • Groups of files should be compressed together and sent in a ZIP or RAR archive.

If you are looking for art guidelines for our Short Run option, you can find details on our Short Run Coasters page.
